has officially launched
Patients, the Public and Priorities in Healthcare
at its recent
conference. This book –
highly timely in light of recent controversies on health priorities
– provides an up to date position statement on how the public
interacts with NICE through its Citizens Council, how its views are
taken into account, and national and international perspectives on
